Exhibition Naples in Paris

Exhibition Naples in Paris

The exhibition 'Naples in Paris,' currently taking place at the Louvre Museum, is the result of an exceptional partnership with the Capodimonte Museum, one of Italy's largest museums. From June 7, 2023, to January 8, 2024, visitors can discover a selection of masterpieces of Italian painting presented in dialogue with the Louvre's collection.

This exhibition is divided into three sections. In the Salon Carré, the Grande Galerie, and the Salle Rosa, around thirty major paintings from Capodimonte, such as Masaccio's Crucifixion and Giovanni Bellini's Transfiguration, are displayed alongside the artworks from the Louvre. The Salle de la Chapelle sheds light on the unique history of the Capodimonte collection, featuring notable works like Titian's Portrait of Pope Paul III Farnese with his Nephews. Lastly, the Salle de l'Horloge presents a precious selection of drawings and prints, including works by Raphael and Michelangelo.

In addition to the exhibition, an ambitious cultural program offers a true Neapolitan season in the heart of Paris. The ticket price for the museum and the exhibition is €17. A visit not to be missed for lovers of Italian art.
